Located in Chédigny, France’s first remarkable garden village, this charming 15 m² guest room welcomes you in an artist’s home. You’ll stay upstairs in a beautifully decorated room with high French ceilings, double bed, nightstands, wardrobes, dresser, and refreshment area. The room features permanent displays of artworks, crafts, engravings, a small poetry library, and an Astérix collection. An extra bed for a child can be added. The shared bathroom in the hallway has two sinks and a shower. Breakfast, made with simple, natural, local, or homemade products, is served in the dining room on the ground floor. You also have Wi-Fi, a mini-fridge, microwave, and a lounge area. Enjoy the shared garden and enclosed meadow with shelter. The property offers an art exhibition space in a former barn, open in spring. You can visit the art studio and write souvenir cards during your stay. Parking is available on site and on the street. Events are not allowed. Your host is a painter and calligrapher with over three years of hosting experience. The village, famous for its roses and cottage garden, is near Loches, Chenonceau, hiking trails, and the Loire à Vélo. Nearby, you’ll find local artists, restaurants, and tea rooms for a creative, sustainable atmosphere. Breakfast is available on request.
